... you're just what I needed!(WHAT I NEEDED!)
This week was pretty hectic, full of new and old friends, funny events and a couple days of sleeping in. Thus, I will be working well into tonight and tomorrow... and in order to gear up I need The Cars. I love them so much and this is the greatest song for a cloudy rainy day. Playing it super loud, I badly want to hurry up and get more capable on guitar so I can get on the electricals! Plug in! And rock out!!

Wow, I love the Cars. RIP Benjamin Orr.
Also: Elliott Easton is one of those totally underrated guitarists. Every solo is a perfect little pop-rock gem.

The Cars are just all round good music all the time. The big hits were hits for a good reason: solid good song-writing and seriously great solos and even perfect keyboards.
I'm glad you love them too! But really, I am not surprised... :)

I had no idea that this song was used for a corporate commercial... that's kinda sad 'cos I know if I'd heard it, that it would make me thing of the product instead of this awesome performance. hooray me, for not owning a tv.
